The Schlagwerk La Peru Series cajons are well known for shaping unique percussive sounds and, believe it or not, this Schlagwerk CP4905 EVO Walnut Deluxe Edition piles on some more. Fitted with a series-exclusive, super-responsive SC6 playing surface finished with a layer of smoked walnut veneer, this premium German cajon packs breath-taking sounds AND looks.
The CP4905 EVO Walnut Deluxe: First-Rate Construction
To level up the sonic versatility to the max, Schlagwerk have used smoked alder for the top and bottom of the body, while to guarantee extra bass, the sides have been made of SPL (Sonic Projection Ligneum) and beech. The playing surface has even been partly set in with glue and partly bolted into place to boost the expressiveness of the rich, full snare sounds shaped by the two sets of four-strand snare wires. Neatly polished off with tuning screws on the bottom, the Schlagwerk CP4905 EVO Walnut Deluxe is prepared to take on almost any style of music.
